I am currently working with a global organisation based in Newcastle who are looking for a talented Scrum Master to join their team. If you have a proven track record facilitating and delivering successful software projects and possess expertise in working with Jira, we want to hear from you!
What you will be responsible for:
Responsible for the delivery of high-quality solutions using the appropriate Agile methodology
Bridging any gaps between the Product Owners/managers and the development/technical teams in line with the release schedule of each sprint.
Implementing a robust Scrum practice
Guide and coach the team in Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality outputs
Work closely with all team members to resolve conflicts. ensuring all is clearly communicated and understood within the team.
Building an environment that is open and safe for team members to share and collaborate
Necessary qualifications and Skills
5 years’ experience in IT software delivery
3 years’ experience in a Scrum master role
Confident in Jira/Confluence
Able to demonstrate knowledge of an Agile framework such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or an understanding of software development lifecycle models
Great problem solving skills
Ability to lead a team and drive collaboration
Educated to a degree standard or equivalent experience (computer sciences discipline)
