I am currently working with a global organisation based in Newcastle who are looking for a talented Scrum Master to join their team. If you have a proven track record facilitating and delivering successful software projects and possess expertise in working with Jira, we want to hear from you!

What you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for the delivery of high-quality solutions using the appropriate Agile methodology

• Bridging any gaps between the Product Owners/managers and the development/technical teams in line with the release schedule of each sprint.

• Implementing a robust Scrum practice

• Guide and coach the team in Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality outputs

• Work closely with all team members to resolve conflicts. ensuring all is clearly communicated and understood within the team.

• Building an environment that is open and safe for team members to share and collaborate

Necessary qualifications and Skills

• 5 years’ experience in IT software delivery

• 3 years’ experience in a Scrum master role

• Confident in Jira/Confluence

• Able to demonstrate knowledge of an Agile framework such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or an understanding of software development lifecycle models

• Great problem solving skills

• Ability to lead a team and drive collaboration

• Educated to a degree standard or equivalent experience (computer sciences discipline)
