Legal Administrator – Private Client
Location: Tyneside
Job Type: Permanent, full time, would consider 4 days pro rata – office based
Salary: £24-25k
We are recruiting on behalf of a well regarded law firm seeking a capable and detail oriented Legal Administrator to join their busy Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a team of experienced solicitors and paralegals, providing essential secretarial and administrative assistance across a variety of matters including wills, probate, trusts, and land registry applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to Private Client fee earners
Assist in the preparation of documents for wills, probate applications, and trust matters
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence with clients and third parties
Handle submissions to HM Land Registry and track application progress
Maintain accurate and well-organised client records and files
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Requirements:
Previous legal administrative or secretarial experience, ideally within a Private Client setting
Good understanding of trusts, wills, probate processes, and land registration from an admin support perspective
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident communicator with a professional and discreet approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems
Desirable:
Experience with digital case management tools
Knowledge of GDPR and legal compliance procedures in a law firm setting
