Our client, a dynamic and forward thinking organisation based in Washington, is looking for a People Coordinator to join their team on a 6 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and wants to make a real impact within a collaborative and supportive HR function.

As the People Coordinator, you will support the day to day operations of the People team, helping to ensure a positive employee experience across the organisation. From onboarding and employee lifecycle support to data management and process improvement, you will be an essential part of keeping things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including paperwork, system updates, and scheduling

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases

  • Assist with HR queries from employees, providing timely and helpful support

  • Coordinate HR documentation and processes, including contracts, changes, and leave tracking

  • Support internal projects related to employee engagement, culture, or process improvement

  • Collaborate with People Partners and other stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery

What we are Looking For:

  • Prior experience in an HR or People team (ideally in a coordination or admin role)

  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and a people-centric mindset

  • Comfortable working with HR systems
