About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Ecommerce Manager to join a dynamic team based in Gateshead, 5 days in the office and a salary of £35,000- £40,000.
Reporting to the CEO and Managing Director, the role presents a unique chance to take over and continue the success of the current Ecommerce team, using your experience, knowledge, and 1st party data to drive sales and revenue through innovation and project management.

The role would be best suited to a highly driven, commercial and technically-minded individual with extensive knowledge of Ecommerce. You'll be excited to learn about every part of the business to aid in project management and decision-making. You will be bold in questioning new ideas and suggestions to achieve the best outcome for the customer.
What you’ll be doing:
Take ownership of the Ecommerce team with one direct report and a development and marketing team to work directly alongside
Use the advice from other teams and your knowledge of Ecommerce to collate, prioritise and delegate projects and tasks to ensure timely completion in the most efficient order
Effectively maintain and configure the Magento 2 Ecommerce stores and extensions while advising on best practices and approaches to new features and projects
Work alongside the Marketing team to ensure that promotional campaigns are implemented on time and according to the specification
Skills:
Extensive experience managing an Ecommerce function within a business. Previous experience with the Magento platform is highly desired
Understanding of how all parts of the customer journey affect revenue including through development, marketing, design, customer service and logistics
The ability to use data to drive decision-making, including excellent Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel skills and experience with analytics platforms
You’ll stand out if you have any of the following:
Working knowledge of Magento 2
Comprehensive Project Management experience
