Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £43,000

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for a variety of digital projects including web applications, ecommerce platforms, and business apps
- Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative and methodical approaches
- Ensure code is clean, modular, scalable, and maintainable
- Configure, manage, and optimize front-end web servers.
- Design, implement, and optimize resilient and scalable database architectures using MySQL and/or Hibernate
- Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and post-release support
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet functional and technical requirements
Key Requirements:
- Strong coding and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in object-oriented programming, particularly in languages such as C#, PHP or Java
- Good understanding of software design principles and best practices
- Hands-on experience with front-end web servers and server performance optimization
- Experience in databases – SQL/NoSQL
