Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £43,000

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for a variety of digital projects including web applications, ecommerce platforms, and business apps

• Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative and methodical approaches

• Ensure code is clean, modular, scalable, and maintainable

• Configure, manage, and optimize front-end web servers.

• Design, implement, and optimize resilient and scalable database architectures using MySQL and/or Hibernate

• Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and post-release support

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet functional and technical requirements

Key Requirements:

• Strong coding and problem-solving skills

• Expertise in object-oriented programming, particularly in languages such as C#, PHP or Java

• Good understanding of software design principles and best practices

• Hands-on experience with front-end web servers and server performance optimization

• Experience in databases – SQL/NoSQL
