About the role
A growing financial services organisation is expanding its internal delivery function and I’m supporting them in the search for an experienced Project Manager. This is a hands‑on role leading multiple bespoke software development projects from initial concept through to full delivery.
Before you read on you need to be aware that this role offers no sponsorship and 5 day attendance on site is required. If that is something you cannot do then we understand but it wont be something that can be negotiated. Only apply if you are happy to work on site 5 days per week.
The business has significantly increased its development capability and now needs a Project Manager who can bring structure, pace and ownership to a busy and evolving project pipeline.
The Role
Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple software development projects.
Manage and support Change Analysts, ensuring requirements are gathered, refined and progressed.
Take greenfield ideas from “blank sheet of paper” through to fully delivered applications.
Build delivery roadmaps and oversee prioritisation across teams.
Work closely with developers, stakeholders and business users to maintain clarity and momentum.
Contribute to the ongoing formalisation of delivery processes as the organisation scales.
What You’ll Bring
Strong background in delivering greenfield software applications end‑to‑end.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Experience working in a maturing delivery environment where processes are still being shaped.
Confident people management skills and the ability to drive outcomes through others.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
You’ll be joining a business investing heavily in technology, with a major programme of new and re‑engineered applications underway. This is a chance to influence how delivery is shaped as the organisation continues to grow.
