About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a range of complex business and IT projects that support significant organisational change. The role involves shaping project direction, coordinating cross functional teams and ensuring that each programme delivers clear and measurable outcomes. The role is hybrid based but you have to be in the North East of England to be considered for the role. Unfortunately at this moment in time sponsorship is not available for the position.
Key responsibilities
Lead multiple complex projects from mobilisation through to delivery and closure
Establish programme structures, governance, reporting and financial oversight
Manage risks, issues and interdependencies across several workstreams
Coordinate stakeholders and ensure alignment of project outcomes with organisational priorities
Support change management activity including impact assessments, communications and adoption planning
Skills and experience
Strong understanding of project and programme management methods and full lifecycle delivery
Proven experience managing large scale business and IT projects with multiple workstreams
Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and external partners
Skilled in planning, risk management, governance and cross functional team coordination
Practical experience applying change management approaches within project delivery
