Digital Marketing Manager

About the role

An ambitious and highly successful private training provider with a team of over 600 are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their growing team.

This role is based in Spennymoor with hybrid working available.

Role

In this role you will be a part of our internal marketing agency, working closely with the wider marketing team to ensure we are following best practice and fully utilising the possibilities of digital marketing within our marketing strategies to achieve digital excellence. This will include working with a CRM system to segment our audience and owning our website CMS system. The role will also see you utilising email marketing, social media and SEO, online advertising, PPC, and all elements of digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the company website CMS, ensuring it is continually optimised

  • Take the lead on search engine marketing using Search Console, Analytics, and AdWords for SEO and PPC

  • Work with the team to establish and deliver the social media strategy

  • Champion the use of the CRM system, working collaboratively across departments to encourage buy-in and foster a CRM-first approach to lead generation

  • Training digital marketing executives on SEO/CRO/PPC/Social Media

  • CRO improvements to website and landing pages

  • Automation of marketing activities

  • Regular reporting of activity and performance

  • Monitoring competitor activity

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other Google tools

  • Demonstrable experience implementing marketing automations such as email workflows

  • Demonstrable experience tracking multichannel marketing campaigns and websites

  • Demonstrable experience reporting across multiple marketing channels

  • Knowledge/awareness of CRM systems such as Zoho CRM

  • Demonstrable experience with website CMS systems

  • Demonstrable experience launching and migrating websites

  • Understanding of tracking and remarketing through retargeting and audience analysis

  • Great copywriting ability

  • Good time management abilities and able to work on multiple projects at one time
