About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Private Client Paralegal to join a Wills & Probate team. This role is ideal for a law graduate or an individual with some prior legal experience who is looking to develop their skills and gain hands-on exposure to private client work within a supportive and professional environment.
Location: Whitley Bay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (35 hours/week)
Salary: £22,250 per annum
What you will be doing:
As a key member of our team, you will assist with the efficient progression of client matters from initial instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing initial client information:
Assessing and checking documentation and details provided by clients to ensure all necessary information is complete, accurate and ready for the next stage of processing. - Managing triage process:
Sending files for triage, reviewing triage reports, and ensuring that cases are categorised correctly based on complexity, client needs and potential outcomes. - Supporting fee earners and team members:
Providing administrative and legal support to solicitors and other colleagues as required—this may include preparing correspondence, drafting standard legal documents, updating case management systems and liaising with clients and third parties. - File handling and case management:
Maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with firm policies, and assisting in the smooth running of client matters from start to finish.
