One of the largest motor retailers in the UK with a turnover exceeding 3 billion are looking for an Marketing and Communications Manager to join their team.
This role is based in Gateshead with hybrid working available.
Salary: up to £33,000
The Role:
As the Marketing & Communications Manager you will be responsible for delivering all marketing communications assets across the company’s brands.
They are looking for you to provide ideas, inspiration and excellent quality marketing assets that are compliant across FCA, their Brands and Manufacturer brand standards. You will take briefs from the wider marketing team and work with the studio for the delivery. You will also be responsible for a team of Marketing Executives.
Key responsibilities
Team management of 4 marketing executives
Accountability for and management of the briefing process to deliver stand-out creative and campaigns across all brands and franchises
Marketing stakeholder management
First-class project management
Adapt the current Marketing process based on business needs
Your team will be working alongside the Divisional Retail Team, you will be taking plans and manufacturer updates, to brief the key assets required for the effective execution of campaigns and activity
You will be co-ordinating priorities and workload with the in-house studio and feeding back to them campaign performance and any creative considerations.
To deliver a step change of efficiency and effectiveness in retail and field marketing across the website, campaigns and local dealership activity
Review creative and delivery against commercial success and implementation, to identify areas of improvement and efficiency
Work with the Divisional Marketing Managers to ensure they are kept abreast of new developments and you are in touch with the dealership challenges
To regularly review creative and delivery against commercial success to identify areas of improvement and efficiency
For this role they are looking for you to have:
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisation skills
Ability to coordinate projects and hit deadlines
Ability to manage a team
An eye for detail - excellent grammar and proof-reading skills
Confident with Microsoft software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Creative thinker - the ability to read a brief and elaborate on it, working closely with the Field team and Studio
Copywriting skills
Understanding of adapting marketing asset to suit target audience and asset location
Project Management skills
Manages deadlines and can liaise effectively with key stakeholders
Previous marketing management experience
