About the role
Our client is recognised by the legal 500. This role is offered on a permanent basis, working fully remote in the Liverpool / Manchester region. We are looking for an HDR Fee Earner up to Team Lead to join a young, dynamic and growing firm.
In the role you will:
Undertake caseload of 90+ files from inception to settlement
Checking and review of initial information
Talking to potential clients to assess if they have had disrepair to their house
Reviewing disclosure and calculating quantum
Checking and recording/diarising important dates (e.g. limitation, striking out, setting down, application for judgement, directions, assessment of damages, trial)
Reviewing files and reporting regularly to clients, introducers, team leaders, others.
Liaising, instructing and negotiating with solicitors, courts, counsel and other agencies.
Reviewing surveyor reports.
Liaising and negotiating with councils, solicitors, courts, counsel and other agencies.
Dealing promptly with telephone enquiries from clients.
About you:
1 Year Litigation Experience
Competent with MS Office
HDR Experience c. 1 year+
