Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Treaty/Facultative Reinsurance Broker/Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between insurers and reinsurers, providing strategic guidance and structuring reinsurance programs that meet client needs while optimising risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, negotiate, and place treaty and facultative reinsurance programs for a diverse portfolio of clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and reinsurance markets.

  • Analyse client risk profiles and provide expert advice on reinsurance structures and solutions.

  • Prepare submissions, proposals, and supporting documentation for reinsurance transactions.

  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and capacity to identify opportunities for clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Actively contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the reinsurance portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in treaty and facultative reinsurance broking.

  • Strong understanding of underwriting, risk management, and reinsurance structures.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to analyse complex data and present clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Professional qualifications in insurance/reinsurance (e.g., ACII, CII, CPCU) are desirable.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of reinsurance platforms is a plus.
