Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Treaty/Facultative Reinsurance Broker/Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between insurers and reinsurers, providing strategic guidance and structuring reinsurance programs that meet client needs while optimising risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, negotiate, and place treaty and facultative reinsurance programs for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and reinsurance markets.
Analyse client risk profiles and provide expert advice on reinsurance structures and solutions.
Prepare submissions, proposals, and supporting documentation for reinsurance transactions.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and capacity to identify opportunities for clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Actively contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the reinsurance portfolio.
Requirements:
Proven experience in treaty and facultative reinsurance broking.
Strong understanding of underwriting, risk management, and reinsurance structures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyse complex data and present clear, actionable recommendations.
Professional qualifications in insurance/reinsurance (e.g., ACII, CII, CPCU) are desirable.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of reinsurance platforms is a plus.
