Application Project Manager - Newcastle – Hybrid
NRG are currently working with a global business, headquartered in Newcastle, on the appointment of an Application Project Manager. As part of the Global IT Platform and Application team, you will have end to end accountability for design, delivery and support of all applications.
This role involves you taking a lead role in ensuring that the applications are fit for purpose and operating smoothly, whilst managing development and continuous improvement to align with the business growth plans.
What you’ll be doing:
Support the development of the applications strategy, roadmap and annual operating plan.Provide oversight on key applications transformation projects initiation through to successful handover into live. Responsible for applications stakeholder engagement & communications plans. Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the business including training, need analysis, technical advice.Be accountable for monitoring the platform and applications through MI reports and other metrics.Implementation and maintenance of Change and Release management for applications. Develop and maintain a backlog of requested feature enhancements. Work with technical teams to ensure the right solutions are being designed. What you’ll bring:
Experience of application project management (design through to implementation).Experience of e-commerce and ERP applications.Previous expereicne working on transformation projects.
