About the role
We are seeking a Mid-level PHP and JavaScript developer to join our Clients team at Zaltek.
We are looking for a good all-rounder, with experience in JavaScript and Laravel. In this role, you will be working on a number of interesting and complex projects, across multiple market sectors.
You should have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, as well as experience with a variety of programming languages and frameworks such as Javascript and PHP. We are looking for an engineer who is proficient in all stages of software development, including the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding company and become a key player in our team. You will need excellent communication skills, as you will be expected to work directly with our clients and showcase your work.
Requirements
2+ years experience with PHP/Laravel & JavaScript Frameworks (React/Vue).
Strong Frontend experience with excellent HTML/CSS skills.
Backend development experience.
Experience with SQL based databases.
Be confident and outspoken with great verbal communication skills.
Great problem solver who is proactive and self motivated.
Can work independently.
Responsibilities
Developing new applications from scratch.
Collaborating with the wider team to plan and execute projects.
Maintaining existing projects, fixing bugs and adding new features.
Peer reviewing code.
Developing & Maintaining applications using a variety of technologies (JavaScript, PHP & similar tech)
Writing code to ensure that it’s of a high quality and meets the needs of the Clients specifications.
Diagnosing, problem solving and fixing issues as they arise.
Showcasing your work to the team and Clients on a regular basis.
Desirable skills
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience with the following technologies: Cloud tech (AWS/Azure/GCP), Node.js & Tailwind.
