About the role
We are currently looking for a temporary HR/Recruitment Administrator to join an established Charity based in County Durham. This organisation prides themselves on offering support and education to make a difference in young people and adults’ daily lives, supporting them in reaching their potential.
This is an office based, 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
The opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part strong HR team to help maintain the smooth operation and running of the recruitment and HR functions. This is an admin heavy role to provide high quality service incorporating the values of the Charity as well as their policies and procedures.
You will:
Be customer focused at all times and deliver a high quality level of service to the Charity and external candidates
Be the first point of contact for all recruitment enquiries
Be familiar with HR policies, procedures and guidance so as to provide accurate and up to date information
Send online DBS application forms ensuring the correct workforce is identified; process online DBS applications; tracking DBS forms online to check on progress
Send online health questionnaire forms to candidates
Ensure that any health declaration outcome reports with recommendations are communicated to the recruiting manager
Ensure the Recruitment System is up to date so that regular updates can be provided to recruiting managers
Chase recruitment information, which could include ID missing for DBS forms, references, and evidence of right to work in the UK and overseas police checks
Liaise with the recruiting manager and candidate when the National Minimum Standards are met to arrange a suitable start date and meeting arrangements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR Recruitment & Selection processes
Attend meetings as required
Keep up to date with legislation/regulatory updates surrounding recruitment and HR
Work within a team setting, promoting a consistent service, working to agreed team goals
Assist in the maintenance of an efficient filing system an carry out general filing duties
Scan and photocopy documentation when required
Attend meetings as required
Ensure all new employees are logged onto Sage, the HR system on a weekly basis
This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to work within a rewarding environment as part of an experienced and supportive HR and recruitment team. The successful candidate must be able to work within a team setting, promoting consistent service, working to agreed team goals.
This role is Monday to Friday, no weekend work and offers between £10 -£10.50 per hour.
