Job Title: Temporary Credit Control Administrator
Location: Central Durham. Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home
Contract: Temporary – 3 months
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Rate: £13.65
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator to join a busy and dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and credit control experience to hit the ground running in a hybrid role, offering both flexibility and the chance to contribute to an essential service.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver front-line administrative services within a busy credit control environment
Make outbound calls to customers to collect overdue payments and resolve any queries effectively
Manage workload and deadlines under pressure while maintaining high quality and accuracy
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the delivery of high-quality services
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience working in a credit control or similar finance environment
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Confident in outbound customer communication, especially in recovering overdue debt
Ability to work proactively as part of a team
Skills & Knowledge:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in using digital tools and systems, including Microsoft 365, email, ERP systems, and communication platforms
A commitment to ongoing professional development
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer clear advice and guidance
