Director of People and Organisational Development (OD)
Salary: £75k - £85k

In order to deliver our aspirational plans, we want to attract, retain and develop a workforce of the highest calibre and fundamental to this will be an impactful, forward-looking Director or People & Organisational Development. Reporting to the Principal & CEO and working closely with the Executive team, the new postholder will create and drive HR policies and initiatives, build employee engagement in support of our strategic plan and champion a culture of aspiration and collaboration.
Key to this role will be to nurture an environment where individuals can flourish, where talent is identified and developed to its fullest potential, and where performance measures support progression and reward. You will develop impactful attraction strategies which will continue to position the College as an employer of choice. Leading a highly motivated HR team and acting as a key business driver, you will provide guidance and effective support to the senior leadership team and line managers on strategic and operational HR matters.
Our successful candidate should be CIPD qualified with substantial HR leadership experience within a complex environment. A proactive driver of change, you will have a successful track record of organisational development, devising and embedding effective strategies which positively impact the success of a whole organisation. You should also have the ability to motivate and inspire a large, diverse workforce as well as developing managers and leaders to support their teams.
