Senior Estimator – House Builder
Location: Doncaster (with regional travel across Yorkshire)

An established and rapidly growing residential developer is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Estimator to join their regional team based in Doncaster. Operating at a high level within the UK housebuilding market, the company is entering a significant phase of growth and requires a commercially astute professional to help support strategic land acquisitions and development appraisals.
This is a pivotal role offering strong long-term potential in a stable, supportive environment with a commitment to quality, community engagement, and collaborative working.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost plans for land bids, appraisals, and development feasibility studies
Analyse drawings, specifications, and technical reports to support budget creation
Work cross-functionally with internal teams (land, technical, commercial, finance)
Identify and manage commercial risks across development projects
Produce accurate reports to support decision-making and budget sign-off
Contribute to overall business planning and financial forecasting processes
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in an estimating role within residential development or construction
Strong knowledge of cost planning and tendering for housing projects
Relevant qualifications (Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline)
Professional membership (e.g. RICS) is beneficial but not essential
Excellent communicator with strong numerical and analytical skills
Confident working independently and across multifunctional teams
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
