We’re supporting a prestigious higher education institution in the North East in their search for an interim Finance Manager to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team on a 3-month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) to bring immediate value in a hands-on management accounting role. You’ll lead on forecasting, budgeting, capital accounting, and internal financial reporting, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. The post includes line management responsibilities.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified (or finalist) accountant with management accounting experience

• Strong technical skills and experience with finance systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion, Power BI)

• Confident working across departments and providing strategic financial insight

• Previous experience in the public or education sector is a plus

• Available to start promptly
