Job Title: Business Systems Developer
Location: Newcastle-Upon-Tyne
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
NRG are delighted to be working alongside a full-service law firm on their search for a business systems developer.
They’re looking for someone who can assist in the design, development and maintenance of their current proclaim practice and case management system.
You’ll work closely with the IT manager and other key stakeholders across the firm on the optimisation of these systems, along with providing end-user training and support to users.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development and maintenance of Practice Management, Case, and Document Management systems for all departments within the practice.
- Analyse requirements and develop case management workflows to help streamline processes, improve productivity, and ensure compliance.
- Produce and maintain standard document templates in relation to Practice Management, Case, and Document Management systems.
- Produce and maintain documentation pertaining to Practice Management, Case, and Document Management systems, especially with regard to changes made to these systems.
- Produce management reports as requested.
- Provide application-specific support to users of the Practice Management, Case, and Document Management systems, and provide general IT support when required.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of end-user training.
- Liaise with heads of department and other members of staff in relation to all relevant programs and developments.
- Perform any other reasonable IT tasks as required by the needs of the practice.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining legal business systems, particularly Practice Management, Case, and Document Management systems.
- Strong understanding of legal workflows and processes.
- Experience in providing application-specific support and training to users.
- Knowledge of relevant Microsoft programming languages and SQL database technologies.
This role is office based in Newcastle upon Tyne with the option to work from home one day per week after 3 months.
