Admin Coordinator (6-Month Temporary Contract)

Hybrid – Sunderland location (2 days in office / 3 from home)
£13.31 per hour
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours per week)
6-Month Temporary Assignment | Immediate Start

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Admin Coordinator to join a busy operations and corporate services team on a temporary basis.

You will be the central point of contact for incoming work requests — keeping things running smoothly, prioritising tasks, and making sure deadlines are met. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent coordination and communication skills who enjoys variety and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You will Be Doing

  • Coordinating multiple workstreams, tracking progress and managing priorities.

  • Supporting teams with diary management, scheduling and workload organisation.

  • Managing a shared inbox or ticketing system to log and allocate incoming requests.

  • Communicating updates, deadlines and priorities clearly to key stakeholders.

  • Identifying process improvements to keep things running efficiently.

What We are Looking For

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.

  • Confident using tools such as Excel, Microsoft Project, and other project-tracking systems.

  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and calmness under pressure.

  • Experience in a coordination, project support or administrative role (public or private sector).
