About the role
We are looking for a Solicitor to join a highly-regarded law firm in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a newly created role in the commercial real estate team. Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will be providing a comprehensive range of Commercial real estate services, contributing to the long-term success and growth of the commercial real estate team, through servicing an existing client base.
As this is a newly created role, there is much scope for professional development and progression.
About the role:
Manage own client files and assist other fee earners and partners as required
Draft, review and revise documents and compile reports
Liaise with clients and other professionals, attend meetings.
Provide clients with advice and take their instructions
Negotiate with clients and other lawyers.
Complete and register transactions at the Land Registry, Companies House and accounting to HMRC
Assist department in reaching fee targets.
About you:
LLD (England and Wales) or dual qualified
Legal Practise Course or diploma in Legal Practise
4 years’ post qualifying experience
Sound commercial property experience in England and Wales
Comprehensive knowledge of English conveyancing, commercial landlord and tenant law and legal procedures
Well organised, accommodating and able to work to deadlines.
