About the role

 We are currently looking for a Solar Electrician to join a renewable energy company in the North East.

This is a full-time role involving travel to client sites within the region and across the UK.

Within this Solar Electrician role, you will support the delivery of renewable energy solutions, focusing on the electrical installation of commercial solar and battery storage systems. You will be responsible for ensuring all work meets safety regulations and quality standards while providing excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair Solar PV systems on commercial sites

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues where required

• Conduct electrical inspections and audits

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed

• Provide high-quality customer service

Requirements

• Electrical NVQ Level 3 & AM2

• 18th Edition qualification

• 2391 Inspection & Testing certification

• ECS Card

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience working with Solar PV systems

• IPAF/PASMA certifications

• A passion for renewable energy
