Scrum Master

About the role

NRG is recruiting for a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project management experience who is ready to step into a delivery lead role. You will act as a Scrum Master, focusing on agile methodologies and coaching teams, while transitioning into a Delivery Lead role to streamline workflows and drive efficient project delivery.

The Offer:

  • Hybrid working – ideally one day in Leeds, two in Sunderland (or vice versa)

  • Salary of £45,000 – £50,000 (potential flexibility for an exceptional candidate)

The Role:

  • Acting as a Scrum Master, focusing on agile ways of working, sprint planning, and coaching team members (including those new to agile)

  • Transitioning into a Delivery Lead, helping to streamline workflows and drive efficient project delivery

  • Working with various teams, including Developers, SAP, and Business Intelligence

  • Supporting team leads and helping the business focus on the right priorities

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, or Delivery Manager

  • Strong people skills – able to coach, mentor, and communicate effectively

  • Organised and proactive, with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement

  • Comfortable working in a busy environment where prioritisation is key
