About the role

This role, reporting to the EMEA Director of R2R, seeks an experienced finance professional to lead monthly management reporting, statutory accounts, and strategic projects for corporate entities within EMEA Finance Operations. The position requires partnering with key stakeholders and leading a team to deliver accurate insights supporting decision-making and strategy. It offers exposure to senior leaders across finance and other functions, presenting strong opportunities for professional growth.

Location: Fixed-term contract until September 2026, hybrid working model requiring 3 days per week in the Newcastle office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) process.

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial close activities.

• Provide insightful financial analysis and effective balance sheet management.

• Manage audits, statutory financial statements, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Contribute to strategic projects such as M&A initiatives and ledger alignment.

• Implement process improvements and best practices.

• Support organisational decision-making through accurate financial data.

• Mentor and develop team members, fostering collaboration and cross-functional relationships with internal teams, such as Tax and Treasury.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in R2R processes and financial management.

• Technical expertise in accounting areas such as foreign exchange (FX), hedging, and audit management.

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

• Demonstrated proactive approach to process improvement.

• Excellent communication and project management skills.

• Capability to handle complex accounting challenges and contribute to strategic initiatives.
