About the role
We are hiring a Purchasing Manager to join a market leading, specialist manufacturer of quality products that are known for great performance and excellent value for money within their industry.
This is an office-based role in Northumberland.
The opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager, ideally with a background in manufacturing and distribution, to join an ever-growing business with warehouses in the UK and Europe to help deliver total customer satisfaction with every product.
You will:
Be experienced in negotiating terms, prices, and units of measure
Have experience in placing purchase orders
Liaise with suppliers
Manage purchase orders
Ensure all logistics are correctly booked in
Have previous experience in data mining
Lead on stock management and logistics
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Use initiative and have a desire to achieve
Have the ability to analyze data
