Reporting to: Head of Digital Product & Design

NRG are delighted to announce we are working alongside a well-established and thriving Wealth Management business in their search for a Web Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a very successful organisation offering excellent opportunities for development and progression.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of our client’s external marketing websites. As a web developer, you will be fully hands-on, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Product Manager.

Role responsibilities:

  • Revamp and maintain existing public-facing websites.

  • Provide help in implementing the SEO strategy, as outlined by the Digital Marketing Manager, with the aim of boosting web traffic and driving new client growth.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance web pages for speed, scalability, and SEO performance.

  • Utilize PHP (WordPress), JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to create visually appealing page designs.

  • Translate designs from Figma into fully functional webpages, with a strong focus on detail.

  • Develop responsive, mobile-optimized webpages.

  • Participate in Daily Standup meetings.

  •  Develop strong working relationships with other teams, including Marketing

Technical Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and SQL.

  • Ability working with databases.

  • Comprehension of WordPress.

  • Basic knowledge of SEO with a desire to expand your knowledge.

  • Some knowledge with using a Command Line Interface (CLI).

  • Understanding of software and application architecture.

  • Understanding of domains and DNS records.
