Are you a commercially minded Product Manager with a passion for design, innovation, and product performance?
Our client, a leading manufacturing business, is looking for a dynamic Product Manager to take ownership of their Exterior product portfolio manufactured in Cramlington. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape product strategy, drive new product development, and support global commercial growth.
As Product Manager, you will manage and promote a diverse portfolio of exterior design products, ensuring strong product performance and profitability. You’ll work cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and sales teams, driving new product introductions, supporting customer needs, and ensuring your portfolio consistently meets contribution margin targets.
You will also lead small project teams, influence key stakeholders, and support strategic initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of selected products within the Exterior portfolio to achieve NPD targets, profitability, and consistent performance.
Analyse product performance and market data to drive informed decisions.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement based on technical capability and product understanding.
Simplify product complexity within the business to improve operational efficiency.
Develop new designs, colours, and surface structures aligned with customer needs and market trends.
Continually enhance product quality, finish, and performance for new introductions.
Use the NPD&I process to manage development projects, including preparing strong business cases for investment.
Coordinate marketing trials, proofing, colour matching and standardisation exercises.
Support the sales team in the UK and international markets through communication, collaboration, and customer visits.
Build and develop relationships with key partners across the wider organisation.
Identify unmet customer needs and emerging market trends to influence future product strategy.
Lead small teams for problem-solving, trials, and project management tasks.
Deliver product training to internal teams and support wider business projects and strategic OKRs.
About You
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or commercial discipline preferred).
Professional experience in product management, marketing, or a similar commercial role within manufacturing is desirable.
Skills & Attributes

Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and commercial audiences.
