About the role

Business Analyst – 6 Month Contract - £500 per day – Outside IR35 – Fully Remote

I am working with a large national financial advice firm who are looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for helping drive a project from start to finish by eliciting requirements, providing support through analysis, and contributing to overall business strategy.

Role Specific duties and responsibilities

• Manages small change from ideation to closure, following the change infrastructure standards.

• Understand business needs as they relate to a potential change or transformation.

• Simplify requirements, so they are easily understood across the whole team.

• Works with the business to elicit business requirements through the most appropriate means including workshops, interviews, round tables, questionnaires etc.

• Manages scope in line with the business case and conducts cross-functional impact analyses where necessary.

• Work with the Test Manager to develop comprehensive E2E test cases, Business Analysts will conduct UAT and warranty support where the business requires.

• Support the analysis of IT system capabilities and work under supervision to identify and specify system requirements.

• Support the development of specifications and models for bespoke IT systems or software packages.

• The Business Analyst will be responsible for delivery of providing L&D with material to produce training to relevant business areas and support training delivery.

Ideal Candidate

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field

• Confidence working with complex data and systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Time Management and organisational skills

• Problem solving skills

• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

• Excellent documentation skills
