About the role
A successful car dealership is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team on a full-time permanent basis based in Morpeth.
The role is Monday to Friday, 35hrs a week & full-time in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily producing timely & accurate financial information.
- Keeping ledgers up to date and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Involves analysis and posting of costs redirected from the main headquarters.
- Assisting the accountant with daily processing of accounts.
- Assisting in both internal and external audits.
About you:
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Analytical skills with strong commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and at ease building relationships with other members of the team
- Detailed knowledge of accounting and IT systems (ideally Keyloop and Microsoft Office)
