About the role

An international provider of Insurance Services are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to work within their claims and underwriting team at their office on the outskirts of Ponteland.

This role is offered 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, on a permanent basis.

The job is office based and offers a salary of £21,000.

We are keen to speak to candidates who have good communication skills, good attention to detail, and are able to work effectively under pressure.

About the role:

  • Review all incoming correspondence

  • Database management, check for insurance entries, and liaise with other departments

  • Scan documents onto CRM and update parties

  • New claims management

  • Process fee payments

  • Deal with internal and external parties in relation to payment

  • Manage and update various databases

  • Manage archival storage

  • Sales invoices

About you:

  • Produce accurate and compliant documents

  • Manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Previous office admin experience
