Are you looking for a new challenge in the Public Sector with an organisation that offers hybrid and flexible working?

If so, we’re looking to recruit a confident and articulate candidate to become one of their Policy Managers. To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter, take an analytical approach to tasks and be someone that has a track record of delivering results.

Ideally you will come from a utilities background with experience in environment and climate change but for the right person they are more than happy to invest in the relevant industry training to ensure you are successful in this role.

Forming part of a wider Policy Team, you will be responsible for leading on specific policy areas, keeping up to date with developments, and proposing new policy positions. You will also play a leading role in developing and delivering programmes and campaigns.

Using your strong verbal and written communication skills, you will have constructive working relationships with several internal and external stakeholders, becoming their first point of contact.

In this role you will:

  • Lead regular company interactions where you will be the main liaison point for information exchange

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, operations, and performance

  • Oversee company performance, policies, and practices in order to influence and secure positive change for consumers

Financial rewards and benefits:

In return you will receive an attractive financial rewards and benefits package including basic salary up to £40,000.

Based in Birmingham City Centre.
