Office Assistant

About the role

Our client, a law firm whose long-term success speaks for itself, are looking to add an office assistant to the Business Services team in their Newcastle office. This is a permanent role offered on a full-time permanent basis, working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, with hybrid work available.

As an office assistant you will be instrumental in assisting with admin tasks across the firm including filing, and ensuring all procedures and policies are adhered to.

About the role:

  • Monitor emails and online file administration.

  • Maintain up to date records of stored files, and ensure files are safely stored off-site

  • Provide general admin support including photocopying, scanning, binding and document management

  • Make sure health and safety policies are adhered to, and training is completed promptly

  • Assist with office moves and maintenance tasks.

About you:

  • Focused on delivering excellent client care, with good customer service skills.

  • Strong communicator and great people skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team or independently

  • Proficient in MS Office packages
