Marketing Executive (Monday to Friday/Hybrid)

Permanent Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to work with our Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant in our Newcastle city centre office. This is a varied role which covers all aspects of marketing in a full-service firm, with a particular focus on content, digital and event management. We are looking for creative flair, a positive attitude and the ability to articulate and influence strategic decisions. You should also know how to build and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, be a multi-tasker who is able to prioritise effectively and enjoy working across multiple practice areas.

Role:

  • Content

  • Develop and maintain an engaging content strategy across all platforms utilising analytics and SEO techniques

  • Content management across all channels, with digital and video being key priorities

  • Develop marketing content design with the Marketing Assistant using Adobe tools

  • Ownership of social media strategy, idea generation and execution

  • Maintain the website, evaluate and manage web performance and update website content

  • Co-ordinate all email marketing activity, working with the Marketing Assistant

  • Reporting

  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO

  • Monitor and report on competitor activity

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager/lawyers to gather and evaluate client feedback

  • Events

  • Liaise with partners/other lawyers to agree on relevant seminars/events we will deliver

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing Assistant to manage the following activities:

  • Co-ordinate the distribution of invitations, monitor responses and manage cancellations for seminars

  • Prepare supporting materials (literature packs, PowerPoint presentations delegate lists)

  • Cordinate follow up activity

  • Database Management

  • Ensure mailing lists are kept up-to-date and manage all data entry and analysis / report production

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

  • 3 years + of relevant experience

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and the Adobe Suite

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of pay-per-click would be beneficial but not essential Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills
