Legal Secretary

About the role

An award-winning law firm, with a notable presence in the North-East and beyond, have opened a new office in Penrith due to expansion. They are looking to appoint a Legal Secretary to join their Litigation team.

The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective secretarial support to the Litigation department in Penrith.

About the role:

  • Support the litigation fee earners as much as possible

  • Audio and copy typing

  • General firm administration and oversee all administration for litigation files

  • Process all claims for client-related expenses and personal expenses for the team

  • Cover reception as required

  • Cover other departments’ secretarial duties as and when required

About you:

  • Two to three years’ experience in a Legal Secretarial role

  • Working knowledge of digital diction systems

  • Experience working within a professional services environment

  • MS Office experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Team player
