Legal Assistant

About the role

A well-regarded Family Law Firm, with an enviable national reputation, are looking to appoint a Legal Assistant to work within their North Yorkshire office.

This role is offered on a full-time basis, with hybrid working available.

About the role:

•Provide a high level of support and assistance to colleagues within the team

•Engage and communicate with clients

•Day to day management of cases including preparing documents, preparing evidence and case developments

•Legal documents including financial disclosure statements, bundles, narratives statements, records of assets and court orders

•Legal research to assist assigned lawyer

•Assist with accounting and billing

About you:

•Experienced in delivering great client service and professional advice

•Exceptional written and verbal skills including strong analytical mind and good judgement

•Extremely professional and collegiate approach to working with clients and colleagues

•Studying and being up to date in all aspects of family law
