About the role
We’re looking for an Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) Project Manager to join a prestigious, Durham-based University.
This is a fixed-term, 18-month contract (with the potential of extension) for an experienced Project Manager.
Hybrid working is available.
The IWMS Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects associated with the implementation of a new integrated workplace management solution.
The opportunity
The Estates and Facilities Directorate provides essential services to the University and is responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing the infrastructure of the various campuses.
You will be leading the planning and implementation of the project and overseeing and managing the project scope, tasks, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
You will have
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships.
• Proven IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office/365.
• Be educated to degree level or HNC/D or equivalent in a relevant discipline or relevant experience working at a similar level.
• Ability to solve problems, plan solutions and make pragmatic decisions.
• Experience delivering system projects.
• Experience providing specialist advice and guidance.
• Successful track record as a Project Manager level of leading, directing and managing a system-based project.
