HR Officer

About the role

An established HR function within a Supplies Company in Durham are looking for an HR Officer to join their team.

People are at the centre of their business, and they’re keen to find someone who can positively make an impact.

Their HR function is key to enabling and empowering employees to thrive and achieve their strategic goals.

This role offers £25,000 basic starting salary, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, and is office-based with flexibility on start and finish times.

The role

You will build on your existing knowledge developed through a relevant qualification or operational experience. You may be a graduate looking to translate academic learning into first-hand experiences.

The HR Officer will support the general HR functions that span all departments of the business and contribute to the wide range of activities relating to the ‘People’ strand of their strategic plans. You will be the first point of contact for HR queries and provide a responsive service to all employees in the business, meeting their core values and creating a positive culture. 

About you

The ideal candidate must be organised, with an eye for detail and accuracy, and be able to manage a fast-paced and demanding workload.

In return, you will receive training, coaching and support for the role of HR Officer.
