Credit Controller and Rebate Administrator
We are working with one of the UKs best known manufacturing companies to hire a Credit Controller and Rebate Administrator. This individual will work within the Finance Team, reporting to the Financial Accountant. They will ensure the on time receipt of payments from customers along with conducting the timely issuance of customer rebate credits.

Working as a Credit Controller and Rebate Administrator will see you having ownership and accountability for a defined portfolio of customers, being the first line of contact for customer rebate requests and queries, and calculating monthly customer rebates.
Take ownership and accountability for a defined portfolio of customers
Chase amounts due and overdue by customers – phone and email
Allocate customer payments to sales ledger accounts
Actively pursue resolution of aged debt balances via liaison with customer, line manager and/or other internal departments as required
Escalate customer payment default and emerging problem accounts to line manager on a timely basis
Be the first line of contact for customer rebate requests and queries
Calculate monthly customer rebates and associated review documentation for sign-off
Raise credit notes on the system
Take ownership of customer rebate tracker and static data
Report to customers (e.g. uploads to web portals)
Periodic audits of rebate claims
Support implementation of new rebate system
Experience of administering a credit control and/or rebate case load
Experienced in dealing with high volume credit control cases
Pro-active communication with customers
Strong attention to detail
