Are you looking for an opportunity to use your talent to write about some of the biggest motor brands in the world?

Our client is currently looking for a talented Content Executive to join their growing marketing team in Gateshead.

You will report into the Head of Digital Content and write to support web content output, working across a variety of materials using a content and events calendar.

Duties

• Creating web copy to entice and engage customers to use our products and services

• Creating content which performs to our SEO guidelines

• Uploading and editing work using a CMS

• Developing a diverse range of content assets using customer personas to attract, convert and retain customers

• Generate compelling, imaginative, and original content ideas

• Create content which can be syndicated and shared

• Ensure all content is aligned to the brand look, feel and tone ensuring consistent experience

• Use and play a role in developing customer personas and align them to customer journeys

• Ensure all content is edited, proof-read and fact checked before being published

• Use of analytical tools to monitor content performance and improve future work

• Liaise with key stakeholders across the wider teams including PR/Social, Data and Development

• Continuously reviewing competition (direct/indirect) to generate new ideas to draw audience's attention

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent in English, Creative Writing, Marketing, or similar relevant subject

• 2+ years' copywriting experience. Web copy, sales copy, direct response or similar

• The ability to think creatively to overcome problems using language

• A passion and interest in automotive

• Experience using project management tools such as Asana would be advantageous

• Ability to produce long and short copy

• A good knowledge of SEO best practice

• Experience updating and maintaining web pages and blogs

• Experience of using HTML would be useful but not essential
