Agile Delivery Lead

Agile Delivery Lead - 6 Month - £600 PD - Inside IR35 

* Newcastle Based 

What you'll do

  • You will play a key role in facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. 

  • Ensure clear communication and alignment between the team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies. 

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and team productivity. 

  • Work closely and collaborate with product owners, product analysts, and development teams to help drive forward product discovery and a healthy product backlog. 

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting self-organisation, accountability, and continuous learning. 

  • Facilitate the resolution of blockers, conflicts, dependencies and address any impediments that may hinder delivery progress or team performance. 

  • Stay up to date of industry trends, emerging practices, and advancements in agile methodologies, and proactively introduce relevant best practices to enhance team delivery. 

  • Drive the adoption of agile principles, frameworks, and tools within the team, evangelising the benefits and guiding teams in their implementation. 

About you

You will fit right into this role if you have:

  • Experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or similar role, successfully leading and delivering using agile methodologies. 

  • Experience in workflow management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira. Azure DevOps experience desirable but not essential.  

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate through challenges and make data-driven project decisions. 

  • Understanding and practical experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and their application in different contexts. 

  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams and drive delivery success. 

  • Ability to adapt to business needs, and to be pragmatic in your approach to decision making. 

  • Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation. 

  • Are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
