About the role

An exciting opportunity to join a thriving consultancy based in the heart of Newcastle. With this role you will be given the opportunity to really step things up for not only the business but also for yourself. You will take ownership of the planning, development, and delivery of critical projects through the project lifecycle from concept to closure. This role is key to the business and you will be responsible for leading project teams and resolving issues to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver a range of business-led changes using agreed project management methods, ensuring completion in line with business requirements, time, cost, and quality.

• Effectively manage and report on all project stages to ensure structure and control throughout.

• Produce and maintain detailed project plans for each initiative or project, tracking and managing risks, issues, and actions to achieve objectives.

• Act as a mentor within the team, offering advice, guidance, and encouraging continuous improvement.

To be considered for the role you must have:

• At least 4 years in project management within a commercial environment specifically within IT.

• Experience managing projects for cost savings, service improvements, or revenue increases.

• Prince 2 qualification.

Previous consultancy experience is a benefit but not a pre-requisite.
