Senior IT Compliance Consultant
Overview:
We are supporting our leading client who have a need for a Senior IT Compliance Consultant on a remote 3 month contract to the lead validation efforts across a portfolio of internal business applications and infrastructure. The role is pivotal in ensuring GxP and other regulatory standards are met across IT systems used in a regulated, multi-brand enterprise environment.
This role sits within a distributed team and will interact frequently with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Audit, Security and Infrastructure functions. The consultant will lead validation projects from initiation through to completion, guide stakeholders across departments, and contribute to compliance maturity through mentoring and best practice implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full lifecycle IT validation for non-product software systems across multiple brands within a regulated environment.
Develop and maintain validation documentation, test plans, traceability matrices, SOPs, and training materials.
Act as a compliance lead, ensuring validation processes meet internal and external regulatory expectations (e.g. GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Audit, QA/RA, InfoSec, PMO, ERP, Infrastructure) to ensure system-level compliance.
Coach internal teams and stakeholders on validation and quality processes, embedding compliance throughout the IT lifecycle.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience leading IT system validation projects in a regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of validation for enterprise business applications, including ERP, PLM, and other regulated platforms.
Experience managing validation deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
Comfortable working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with global stakeholders.
Solid understanding of IT quality governance, regulatory documentation, and system life cycle controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
7 years of IT validation experience within regulated sectors.
Hands-on validation of systems such as SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with structured improvement tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or DBS toolkit equivalents.
10 years of overall IT experience.
