Are you an Information Security expert looking for your next role? Due to continued success and growth, our client is looking for an Information Security Lead to join their business. This role offers hybrid working (however you must be commutable to Newcastle), excellent training and development budgets and international travel.

As the Information Security Lead, you will be responsible for ISO27001, TISAX and GDPR compliance as well as the continuous management and maintenance of Security Management Systems. You will play a lead role development and management of the IT Team, looking at continued growth and support of their career aspirations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities using a variety of tools.

• Establish, develop and implement an information security strategy and deliver security awareness.

• Act as an SME - Work with internal and external clients to ensure all projects are secure and compliant.

• Regularly assess security risks to the business, create documentation and share best practice.

What you’ll bring:

• Hold current CISSP and/or CISM certifications -  essential.

• Proven experience with security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001.

• Strong knowledge of information security fundamentals and best practices.

• A passion for developing people.
