About the role
A well-recognised wealth management business, who’s centuries of success speak for itself, are looking to appoint a Team Leader for their operations team. Their services include creating Financial Plans, and investment portfolios including investment management, retirement planning and efficient investment.
This role is based in their city centre Newcastle office and is offered on a fixed term contract basis until the end of February 2023. This is working a 35 hour week.
We are keen to speak with candidates who have had management/ supervisory experience within a Financial Services environment.
About the role:
Ensure team members adhere to the Risk and Control and policy frameworks
Coordinate and monitor the Operation Team’s work, and make sure it is completed to a high level of accuracy, and to company standards
Plan and support resource management
Carry out administrative duties as required
Ensure client teams provide an exceptional client service
Monitor training requirements for your team
Ensure team have regular performance meetings
Make sure audit requirements completed within deadlines
Support line manager in overseeing delivery of project tasks
About you:
Good standard of education including GCSEs and A Levels, Degree qualification is desirable
Previous experience in management within an operations environment in Financial Services
Ability to coach and develop others
Proven ability to motivate others and use initiative
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt communication style to suit audience
