 Job Title: Data Analyst (Remote2 days in office)

Salary: Up to £30,000

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

An exciting opportunity has come up with an ethical investment organization based in Newcastle.The organization is seeking a data analyst capable of providing analytical assistance by delivering database query writing, extracting data, and generating reports.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Generates critical data reports for the organization.

  • Conducts Data Quality Assessments by manipulating and cleansing extensive data tables to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Performs data extraction and analysis reporting using tools such as Excel and SQL queries, along with related software like SQL Server Reporting Services or Power BI.

  • Conducts inspections of information and database records.

  • Identifies opportunities for enhanced efficiency and establishes and sustains automated data processes.

  • Creation of sustainable, automated reports within SSRS and PowerBI.

  • Maintains regular communication with the Head of Technology and fellow team members to facilitate effective information flow and workflow.

  • Collaborates within the Technology team to address queries related to database systems and fulfil feature requests.

Key skills we are looking for:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerBI, and SSRS.

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail in the creation and evaluation of data structures to ensure their suitability.

  • Familiarity with techniques related to data modelling, data cleaning, and data enhancement.

  • Proficiency in crafting clear visual representations and data visualizations.

  • Outstanding communication skills, encompassing both spoken and written interactions with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Excellent team working and collaboration skills
