Claims Handler - Motor third party settlement team

We are working with a well-known insurance company based in Newcastle who are looking for claims handlers to join their motor third party settlement team on a permanent basis.

With a starting salary of £23,500 up to £26,000 depending on experience, you’ll work 36 hours per week between Monday to Friday. There is also hybrid working available meaning you’ll get the best of both office and home working.

Your role will be to convert thirdparties to use the companies repair and mobility services or agree a total loss settlement. You’ll negotiate effectively with thirdparty stakeholders and suppliers to ensure a 'fair settlement' is achieved for both the third-party claimant and the company.

About the role

• You’ll manage a portfolio of motor claims as efficiently as possible, providing a high standard of service to our customers.

• Not only will you have excellent communication skills to help customers, you’ll develop relationships with colleagues and third-party representatives - insurers, solicitors, credit hire companies and suppliers.

• The Claims Settlement Management Team are a welcoming and supportive group, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to succeed in your new role!

• This role is based in Newcastle with hybrid working available, meaning you’ll get the best of both worlds with a balance of both office and homeworking.
