Due to business growth our award-winning client based in Longbenton is looking to add talented people to their Customer Claims team.
Basic salary £20,000
As a Claims Handler you will follow a 6-week shift-based rota within the hours of 8am – 8pm, 2 full weekends and 1 Saturday every 6 weeks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll receive inbound calls from customers supporting them to report their claims in a timely and professional manner.
You’ll deliver an outstanding customer experience to every customer by providing resolutions and answering queries.
You’ll take responsibility for each customer, using your own judgement to provide the correct advice in order to resolve claims appropriately.
You’ll follow system and procedural processes and ensure compliance with the FCA.
About You:
You will possess at least six months customer service experience which will ideally be from a contact centre background but may also be from the retail and hospitality sector.
You’ll have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and the ability to overcome objections.
You’ll have strong communication skills and the ability to empathise with customers.
Credit and CRB checks must be passed in order to be offered the role
