We are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most established accountancy practice firms with their recruitment of an Audit Senior Manager into their fast-growing team.

The role:
The successful candidate will oversee the effective management of a substantial portfolio of clients; planning assignments, briefing staff on the clients’ business, ensuring all work carried out is compliant with government legislation and that client and statutory deadlines are routinely met and exceeded.
Your key duties will include:
Manage the role in accordance with the firm’s standard procedures and confirm arrangements with the client
Ensure Assurance quality at all times - assist with internal and external quality assurance
Brief staff on the client’s business and the pre-assignment instructions, and to undertake training and appraisals where necessary
Ensure that the job is completed within budget
Liaise with clients throughout the year and to provide excellent client service at all times
Ensure that appropriate liaison takes place with all other departments
Develop a detailed knowledge of the firm’s specialist services
Other relevant duties included in full job spec
The requirements:
Candidates must be ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent
Previous experience operating at manager level in a similar role is required
Proven experience in client handling
Proven Assurance experience in producing high quality audits
