A respected architecture practice is seeking a motivated and skilled Architect to join their collaborative team. The successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of projects by developing concept designs and producing architectural information across RIBA Work Stages 1–5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concept designs and compelling narratives to communicate design intent effectively.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings and information for all RIBA Work Stages 1–5.
- Prepare professional presentations and reports using Adobe InDesign to support client and design team communications.
- Collaborate with Grade 3 colleagues and other internal team members to ensure technical support and smooth design coordination.
- Liaise with suppliers to maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, products, and technologies relevant to projects.
- Actively participate in Design Team Meetings and other forums, contributing to design discussions and coordination.
- Engage with wider external design teams to align on design outputs and integration.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors regarding design information and technical requirements.
- Maintain appropriate liaison with clients to ensure design clarity and alignment.
- Attend site visits to review project progress, verify design implementation, and resolve on-site issues.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in producing concept and technical architectural designs across RIBA Work Stages 1–5.
- Skilled in preparing presentations and reports, preferably using Adobe InDesign.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive approach to site involvement and client engagement.
- Familiarity with current materials, products, and construction technologies.
